Former Green MP Golriz Ghahraman will learn her fate on Thursday regarding shoplifting charges.
Judge June Jelas, who has reserved her sentencing decision in court today, confirmed that Ghahraman will not face imprisonment.
According to NZ Herald court reporter Craig Kapitan, Ghahraman’s defence argues that she was experiencing a mental health crisis at the time of the incident.
