The Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan continues its activities and events as part of the international campaign “Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan, the political solution to the Kurdish issue.” This campaign, launched on October 10 last year, spans 74 centers worldwide.
After visiting political parties between May 14 and 26, the Syrian Initiative is now preparing a conference on Ocalan’s health condition.
The initiative’s visits are ongoing in other regions of Northeast Syria, engaging with Kurdish and Arab tribes, as well as Circassian and Turkmen communities in Tabqa and Manbij.
Farzunda Munther, the spokesman for the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, said that all communities and leaders view Abdullah Ocalan as a symbol of freedom, peace, and a solution to their issues. Following visits to Armenian and Arab communities in Qamishlo and Manbij, a forum was held to discuss these topics.
Munther noted that their efforts are producing positive results. He highlighted that a major demand from the meetings was the need to explain Ocalan’s ideas and assessments.
Munther also announced the preparation of a medical conference on Ocalan’s health condition. “The conference will take place at the beginning of August with the participation of doctors and health experts,” he added.
