Saudi Minister of Health Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel conducted several comprehensive inspection tours on Tuesday to review health system services at the holy sites in Makkah in preparation for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage.
Al-Jalajel visited the Makkah Health Cluster, healthcare facilities in Arafat and Mina, and the headquarters of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority. These visits aimed to ensure that pilgrims will receive the best possible services during their holy journey.
During the tours, the minister inaugurated the National Center for Health Crisis and Disaster Management at the holy sites. He also inspected health facilities at Mina Al-Wadi Hospital, Mina Emergency Hospital, and several private sector facilities.
The minister’s visit underscores the significant attention given by the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to serving pilgrims. This initiative is also in line with the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030.
