A unique initiative saw 40 volunteers from Persevera Box Estepona, a fitness group known for its cross-training programs, take to the streets of Los Barrios, near Gibraltar, to combine their fitness routines with rescue dog walking. The event, which took place over the weekend, aimed to promote both healthy exercise and support for a good cause.
The volunteers walked dogs from Fundación SOS Canya, a local dog rescue center, on a scenic route through the area. Along the way, they collected donations from local residents, some of whom came out specifically to contribute to the rescue effort. The initiative highlighted how fitness enthusiasts can use their passion for exercise to make a positive impact in the community, combining personal health goals with charity work for the well-being of rescued dogs.
