As we welcome the new year, a leading doctor has shared a simple yet impactful health recommendation to improve well-being in 2025.
Dr. Amir Khan, a regular contributor to Good Morning Britain, advised individuals over 40 or those with a strong family history of high blood pressure to invest in a home blood pressure monitor. He emphasized the importance of tracking blood pressure at home to manage potential risks.
Dr. Khan explained, “Undiagnosed or poorly managed blood pressure can lead to serious health issues, including heart attacks, strokes, kidney disease, and eye problems.”
He encouraged people to make blood pressure monitoring a priority for the year ahead, noting that maintaining healthy levels and seeking medical advice when necessary can significantly reduce health risks.
