Pinkard Construction will start tenant improvements at two Banner Health campuses in Northern Colorado this month. The projects, set to run through November, involve upgrades at Mountain Vista Medical Center and Northern Colorado Family Medicine, both located in Greeley.
The total budget for the concurrent projects is $626,876. Work at Mountain Vista will include renovations to the urology, rehabilitation, gastrointestinal, and orthopedic departments. Planned updates feature new finishes in reception areas, as well as cosmetic improvements such as painting, flooring, and casework repairs.
At Northern Colorado Family Medicine, improvements will include a new reception desk, upgraded countertops and offices at nurse stations, and fresh paint throughout the facility.
“Our goal is to enhance the workspaces to improve comfort for both staff and patients,” said Krystyl Alexander, Pinkard’s Assistant Project Manager. “While the changes may seem minor, they have a significant impact on the experience of those working in or receiving treatment at the facilities.”
The renovations will be carried out while the facilities remain operational. Alexander noted, “We’ve developed a detailed phasing plan to ensure we work only in designated areas at times when departments are not in use. It’s a logistical challenge, requiring us to complete work overnight to avoid disrupting patients. Scheduling has been a complex but rewarding process.”
